Over a century of hospitality, RESTORED FOR CENTURIES TO COME
Since 1922, High Hampton has figured prominently into the story of Cashiers and the Carolina High Country for generations. Known for its luxuriously laidback sensibilities, the property has been a beloved destination for generations of summer gatherings, weekend getaways and storybook holidays.
Classic resort charm has always been its hallmark, timeless family traditions have always been its signature and a picturesque, bark-sided inn has been, and always will be, its iconic centerpiece.
Over the past years, a group of passionate families took the helm of this storied property. Birmingham-based Arlington Family Offices and Daniel Communities led the redevelopment of the golf course, new club amenities and private real estate offerings.
The Beall family, and leadership from their acclaimed destination, Blackberry Farm, oversaw the revitalization of the property’s Inn, cottages and restaurants within the Inn with a keen focus on maintaining the unusual character and unique appeal of the original buildings and not creating another Blackberry property. High Hampton’s local management team is now charged with delivering a food, wine and hospitality experience distinct to High Hampton and unique to the Inn’s rich history and character.
High Hampton is truly a one-of-a-kind property. We’re working to respect that in everything we do, including in how the Inn will be operated. Independent of our other projects, the food, style and sensibility of the Inn will reflect the charming character of this classic mountain retreat.
Carefully balancing preservation with the promise of thoughtful improvement, High Hampton’s leadership is working to maintain all the heartwarming charm of the legendary Inn and club community, while refining and elevating the experience for guests, owners and members.
