High Hampton’s tennis and pickleball program celebrates—and elevates—the resort’s long-standing passion for racquet sports. Developed under the direction of Andy Roddick, former world tennis champion and part-time Cashiers resident, our competition-caliber facilities include four Har-Tru clay courts, one classic hard court and six pickleball courts. Situated between the dahlia gardens and the Fitness Studio, the nine courts provide mountain views in every direction as well as match and open play opportunities for every level of player. Private instruction and clinics are offered for a variety of skill levels and ages. Equipment is located at the Fitness Center.
A beloved activity at High Hampton, croquet presents a unique opportunity to practice your problem-solving skills. Private lessons and weekly classes are available for this activity, along with provided equipment.

Reservations are required for Inn guests wishing to use High Hampton’s courts for both games and practice. Courts may be booked in 60 or 90-minute slots (during less busy seasons, longer reservations may be accepted). For reservations to play or to book private instruction, please contact concierge with details regarding date and time.
Court reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours in advance.
Reservations for play or private instruction can be coordinated by contacting Concierge. There is no Inn guest fee for court reservations; this activity is included in their stay. Instruction is an additional cost.
Guests may also arrange private instruction (30, 60 and 90 minute sessions) and participation in clinics in the same manner.
Please note: High Hampton is a non-tipping club so no tipping of the bag service staff or others is expected. Tipping is appreciated but not expected.

High Hampton requests players wear classic tennis attire while using the courts. Soft-soled tennis shoes are desired and all white clothing are encouraged. However, we do honor your choice of color and style.
For safety and out of respect for all players, children under 13 must be supervised by an adult while playing or practicing on High Hampton’s courts.

Croquet

All white clothing is encouraged but golf attire is acceptable.
Lawns Open Daily 10:00am - 8:00pm
- Croquet equipment will be on either side of the lawn and there is no charge to use equipment.
Individuals of all ages can play croquet. Children mallets are available and we offer clinics for children as well. However, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be an outline of how to play croquet at the croquet lawn. We also offer private lessons and weekly clinics. Clinics can be booked up to 30 days in advance. Private lessons can be booked up to seven days in advance. Contact our Concierge team to sign up.
